Autumn 2024

Whoa where did summer go!!

It seems this summer raced by and still didn’t want to let go on the official start of Autumn. But our forest canopy is starting to tint, a bumper crop of acorns are falling and critters are bulking up or filling their larder for the winter to come. Traffic on the lake has slowed as we head into our most beautiful season. Enjoy your time in and on the lake.

Summer was either hot, or wet, this year we had 7 rain “events” where 40-70mm of rain in a short period of time (usually hours) hopefully we’ll have a gentle transition through Autumn into winter.

We ask that you use care and obey our 25 km/h speed limit as you drive the roads, for the safety of friends, family and neighbours out walking our beautiful grounds.

We hope you have a wonderful “shoulder-season” and get to create some new memories with loved ones as the fall splendor advances.

Enjoy the season!
