Winter 2021

After a green festive season, we’re having a more conventional winter now

We’ve had more of a taste of winter with a good base of snow forming!  We hope you have the opportunity to take advantage of what some say is the most beautiful time of the year at Sand Lake.

It continues to be an unusual year with the Covid 19 Pandemic affecting our families directly or indirectly, and at differing levels locally and worldwide.

Our cottages offer a comfortable respite from world events. However with response and contingency plans evolving at the Provincial, City  and Township of Rideau Lakes levels, cottagers are reminded to heed the most up to date advice of your local officials and Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer when it comes to travel and social activities.

For more information go to the township of Rideau Lakes Website: www.rideaulakes.ca

Enjoy the seasons!

If you haven’t had the opportunity, please check out changes to this website in order to provide some additional and handy resources for you.  We hope you’ll find the material easy to access and enjoy.

2020 marked our first dues increase in many years, you’ll find our dues page is also being updated as part of our website renovation. As 2021 begins, we ask that you pay your 2020 dues if you didn’t get to it yet! There is guidance on how to pay on our dues page. Our thanks to those who have done so on time.

Our Annual General Meeting was held mid-January via virtual means. For the 2021 Annual General Meeting, watch your email for updates from your Sand Lake Estates Board as we monitor the Covid situation and determine the best method to meet.

Our wish of good health to you and your families,

Your Sand Lake Estates Volunteer Board.
